NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The MLC softball team closed out its regular season with a pair of losses at St. Oalf by the scores of 4-0 and 7-1.

St. Olaf scored four early runs and never looked back on the way to beating MLC 4-0 in game one.

MLC starting pitcher Laura Miller allowed four runs in the first two innings, but kept the Knights in the game by holding St. Olaf to four hits in the game.

The Knights were held to only two hits for the game, one each from Elizabeth Henke and Karla Opperman.

Miller allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and seven walks as she dropped to 9-12 on the season.

MLC was held to two hits for the second straight game in a 7-1 loss to St. Olaf in game two.

St. Olaf scored once in the second, third and fourth innings, and then put things away with four runs in the sixth off MLC starter Sarah Free, who dropped to 2-11 on the season with the loss.

Sarah Free and Amber Krause had the two hits for the Knights, while Katie Kretsch had two walks and the lone RBI.

With the two losses, MLC finished the season at 11-23 overall.
