MLC Women Lose at UMM

MORRIS, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team lost at UM-Morris Monday by the final score of 7-2.

Leslie Klinski picked up one of MLC's two points at UMM

MLC lost all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-2, 9-7 and 8-4.

In singles, the Knights gained two points. Leslie Klinski won her match in number three singles by the score of 6-3 and 6-1, while Miranda Pomije won her number six singles match in three sets by the score of 5-7, 6-2 and 10-8.

MLC dropped to 2-8 overall and 2-4 in UMAC competition with the loss, while UMM improved to 4-5 on the season and 4-3 in league play with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Thursday, April 26, when they travel to North Central for a match scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
