Women Drop Match at Macalester
ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team dropped its match at Macalester by the final score of 9-0 Tuesday night.
Tessa Hieb and the Knights dropped their match to Macalester by a score of 9-0
The Knights dropped each singles match in straight sets, with Lauren Gross (Oconomowoc, Wis./LPS) coming the closest to taking a set, losing 1-6 and 3-6 in her number five singles match.
In doubles, the Knights were able to take only one game, with the team of Karina Luthra (Simpsonville, S.C./LPS) and Michelle Hintz (Franklin, Tenn./Independence HS) losing the number three doubles match by a score of 1-8.
With the loss, MLC dropped to 0-3 on the season. The Knights will return to the courts on April 6, when they travel to North Central for a match scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
