Women Roll against Buena Vista

NEW ULM, Minn. - The women's tennis team put together a strong performance Tuesday, beating Buena Vista 7-2.
Rachel Niemi helped the Knights take down Buena Vista
MLC won four of the six singles matches, with Rachel Niemi (La Crosse, Wis./Luther), Karina Luthra (Simpsonville, S.C./LPS) and Hannah Janke (Sioux Falls, S.D./LPS) taking home two-set wins, while Heidi Heckmann (Lake Mills, Wis./LPS) won her match in three sets.
In doubles action, the Knights took all three matches by the scores of 8-4, 9-7 and 8-1.
With the win, MLC improved to 3-6 on the season. The Knights will return to action on Thursday, April 22, when they travel to Northwestern for a match beginning at 7 p.m.
