Women Swept at CSS

DULUTH, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team was unable to generate a point against conference-leading St. Scholastica in a 9-0 loss Saturday.
Michelle Hintz and the Knights lost 9-0 at CSS
The Knights were swept in doubles by the scores of 8-4, 8-1 and 8-1, and then lost all six singles matches in straight sets.
The closest MLC player to taking a set was Michelle Hintz, who lost her number five singles match 6-0 and 6-4.
With the loss, MLC dropped to 2-7 overall and 2-3 in the UMAC, while CSS improved to 14-6 on the season and 8-0 in league play.
MLC will return to action on Monday, April 23, when it travels to UM-Morris for a match scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
