Women Take Down Rams 6-3
NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team won its conference match this against North Central Thursday by a score of 6-3.
Karina Luthra and the Knights beat North Central 6-3
The Knights dominated the doubles competition, winning the three matches by the scores of 8-4, 8-3 and 8-0.
In singles competition, the Knights' depth came through. MLC's number five and six players (Hannah Janke and Heidi Heckmann) won their matches in straight sets, while Karina Luthra won her number three singles match in straight sets as well.
With the win, MLC improved to 4-5 overall and 4-3 in the conference, while North Central dropped to 0-10 on the season and 0-9 in league play.
MLC will return to action tomorrow (Friday, April 29), when it hosts UM-Morris in a double header starting at 11:15 a.m.
