Academic All-UMAC Awards Announced
ST. PAUL, Minn. - MLC finished the winter and spring seasons with 45 individuals receiving Academic All-UMAC honors, and also finished with the highest team grade point average (GPA) in three of the eight sports sponsored by the conference during those seasons.
The 45 individual honorees over the eight sports ranked third in the conference behind St. Schlastica (85) and Northwestern (56).
To be eligible to receive the individual honor, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.5 or better semester GPA.
The Knights had the highest GPA in women's tennis, men's tennis and men's basketball. The women's tennis team finished with the highest GPA of any team in any sport in the conference at nearly 3.9 for the second semester.
