Women Finish Fourth at UMAC Championships

MORRIS, Minn. - The MLC women's track & field team finished fourth at the UMAC Championships held at UM-Morris Saturday.

Erin Kelly led all finishers for MLC with a second place finish in the High Jump.

Elsewhere in the field events, Alyssa Myers and Beth Murry each had two top ten finishes, with Myers taking third in the Discus and eight in the Shot Put, and Myers finishing sixth in the Javelin Throw and eighth in the Discus. Rebecca Englebrecht finished fifth in the Long Jump.

In the running events, Rachel Hein led the way with a fourth place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles, while Emily Hunt and Amanda Walther also had top ten finishes.

St. Scholastica won the team competition with a total of 313 points, while MLC finished with 37 points at the meet.
