Women Take Seventh at St. Benedict
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The MLC women's track team finished seventh at its first meet of the season at St. Benedict Saturday.
Erin Kelly took fifth in the high jump at St. Benedict
MLC finished with four points in the meet because of fifth place finishes by Alyssa Meyers in the shot put and Erin Kelly in the high jump.
Other Knights who finished in the top ten included Elizabeth Loersch, who took seventh in the shot put and tenth in the 800 meter run, as well as Rachel Hein (seventh in the 55 meter hurdles), Emily Hunt (eighth in the 55 meter dash), and Beth Murry (ninth in the shot put).
St. Benedict took first in the meet with 208 points.
The Knights will return to the track on Saturday, April 2, when they travel Augustana for a meet starting at 11 a.m.
