Volleyball Closes Season with Win at PC

ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Knights closed the regular season with a four-set win over Presentation by the scores of 25-13, 25-20, 22-25, and 25-19.

Kately Hauf had seven kills in MLC's win at PC

MLC hit .289 for the match, and was led by Rebecca Engelbrecht with 19 kills. Jaime Eternick added 14 kills, while Rachel Hein and Katelyn Hauf each added seven. Mackenzie Krentz finished with 48 assists.

Eternick also added 14 digs, while Krentz and Renee Peters each had 11. Hein led the blocking effort with four.

With the win, MLC finished the regular season at 18-12 overall and 8-6 in the UMAC, good enough for a fourth place finish and a spot in the UMAC Postseason Tournament. Presentation dropped to 1-23 overall and 1-13 in the UMAC with the loss.

MLC will play its next match on Wednesday, when the Knights travel to play St. Scholastica in round one of the UMAC tournament.
