Volleyball Loses Two at Bethel

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Saturday at a tournament host by Bethel, losing in four games to both UW-River Falls and Carleton.

The Knights lost the match to UW-Fiver Falls by the scores of 25-19, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-12. Heather Danell led the MLC attack with 14 kills hitting .278 for the match.

In the second match, MLC fell to Carlton by the scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-22 and 25-20.

With the two losses, MLC dropped to 4-5 on the season.

The Knights will return to action on Friday, September 16, when they travel to UW-Oshkosh for a weekend tournament. Their first game will be against Lakeland at 5:30 p.m.
