MLC was one of 75 teams in NCAA Division III to receive the honor, and was among 450 total teams from all collegiate divisions and high schools to be named.

To qualify for the award, teams must have a team grade point average of 3.3 or better. This past season, the Knights posted a team GPA of 3.44.

”I’m very proud of the girls for the effort they put into the classroom, as well as on the court,” MLC Head Coach Rebecca Cox said.
