Volleyball Splits Opening Day

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team won its opening match of the season Thursday against Presentation, and then dropped a competitive three game match against Macalester on its first day of competition of the season.

The Knights took the match against Presentation in four games, winning by the scores of 25-21, 25-13, 19-25, 25-12.

MLC dropped each of the three games against Macalester by the scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

The Knights will return to the courts at St. Olaf tomorrow (Friday, September 3), when they play a double header. Their first match starts at 6 p.m. against Hamline, which will be followed by an 8 p.m. match against St. Olaf.
