Volleyball Sweeps Bethany
MANKATO, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over rival Bethany Wednesday night by the scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-20.
MLC hit .283 for the match, and was led on the attack by junior Emily Boldt, who finished with 12 kills for the match. Boldt also had three blocks.
Rebecca Engelbrecht added nine kills and hit .364 for the match, while Jaime Eternick had six kills and zero errors in 19 attempts.
Mackenzie Krentz finished with 31 assists and added three blocks, while Renee Peters finished with a match-high 16 digs.
With the win, MLC improved to 11-8 overall, and 3-2 in the UMAC, while Bethany dropped to 6-10 on the season, and 2-3 in league play.
The Knights will return to action on Friday, October 8, when they host Presentation for a match scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
