DULUTH, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team was unable to knock off conference unbeaten St. Schoalstica Saturday, losing 3-0 in Duluth.

Emily Boldt had ten kills in an MLC loss at CSS

MLC dropped the three games by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

Emily Boldt had a good day for the MLC attack, finishing with a team best ten kills, and hitting .421 for the match. MLC hit .164 for the match, while CSS hit .375.

Rachel Hein and Rebecca Engelbrecht added eight and seven kills, respectively, while Mackenzie Krentz had 30 assists.

With the loss, MLC dropped to 9-8 overall and 2-2 in the UMAC, while CSS improved to 15-5 on the season, and 4-0 in conference action.

MLC will return to action on Tuesday, October 5, when it travels to North Central for a match scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
