Volleyball Wins Fourth Straight

NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team finished its season sweep of North Central with a 3-0 win Tuesday night by the scores of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-9.

Rachel Hein had eight blocks and eight kills in MLC's win over NCU

The Knights were able to control all three sets from the beginning, and were able to get a lot of players some playing time and experience, which could be a boost for the team in the future.

MLC hit .320 for the match while holding the Rams to an attack percentage of -.080, and also finished with 12 total blocks in the match. Rachel Hein led the team in both kills (eight) and blocks (eight), and hit .412 for the match.

Rebecca Engelbrecht also had a solid day, finishing with six kills and four blocks. Rachel Larson had five kills and four blocks.

With the win, MLC improved to 12-10 on the season, while North Central fell to 2-16.

The Knights will return to action on Friday, October 14, when they host Northwestern for a 7 p.m. match.
