- Ladies’ Auxiliary National Meeting continues tradition of support
- The 2011 Annual Ladies’ Auxiliary National Meeting is based on the theme "Tend the Spirit’s Fire." Attendees will learn about the new programs at MLC, select new projects for 2011-12, and work together to continue their support of MLC students and faculty. Workshops on “Timely Topics for Today” will highlight the afternoon. Read about workshop details.

- MLC Alumni Association Board reaches out
- The Martin Luther College Alumni Association Board met on the MLC campus Friday, September 30. They discussed goals and objectives of current funding policies and communication strategies. They also reviewed the plans for alumni events on the MLC campus and in regional areas such as Las Vegas, Milwaukee, and Anchorage. See more alumni events.
- MLC Governing Board plans for future advancements
- The Martin Luther College Governing Board met on campus September 22 and 23. Significant agenda items included an Intergenerational Ministry Project, a capital campaign, a seven-year strategic plan, financial aid funds, and student fees for the 2012-2013 school year. - MLC hosts free conference
- At the request of conference organizers, Martin Luther College is hosting a Free Conference November 9 and 10 in the Wittenberg Collegiate Center Auditorium. The concept of a free conference draws from a deep heritage among confessional Lutherans, and representatives from WELS leadership have been regular participants in previous free conferences. - In response to many requests by WELS teachers, MLC is now offering a program by which (D)MLC graduates from 1970 - 2001 can earn their master's degree and their Minnesota state teaching license at the same time. Some current graduate courses are being revised and some new graduate courses added that will enable teachers to "kill two birds with one stone."
