Seventy-seven teacher candidates as well as one staff ministry candidate, received assignments May 15 at MLC´s Call Service. Our campus pastor, John Boeder, preached on John 4: 7-13, ". . . whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst." The  77 teacher candidates, 41 graduates of 2010 and 36 of previous years, were assigned to every level, from preschool to high school. Twenty candidates who could be assigned anywhere were unassigned, 7 from 2010 and 13 previous grads. Eighteen teacher candidates deferred assignment, 15 of these candidates elected International Service. Nineteen teacher candidates in category 4 (limited by area) are eligible to receive calls after Call Day. (16 current grads, 3 previous grads) One previous staff ministry grad remains unassigned.
