College to host WELS Choral Festival

Martin Luther College is privileged to host 450 singers from 22 WELS Lutheran high schools who will participate in the WELS National Choral Festival November 11-13. A Pops Concert will be presented Friday, November 11 at 7:00 pm where each school group will perform individually.A Sacred Concert will be given Sunday, November 13 at 2:00 pm. Guest conductors for that concert are Mr. Jonathan Laabs (Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School) conducting the Laudate Choir, Dr. Kermit Moldenhauer (MLC) conducting the Cantate Choir, and Mrs. Katherine Tiefel (Abiding Word Evangelical Lutheran Church, Houston, Texas) conducting the Jubilate Choir. Both concerts will be held in the Martin Luther College Luther Student Center Gymnasium and will be streamed live at MLC TV.
