Deck the Campus
Alumni, friends, faculty, and staff of Martin Luther College are invited to join in giving a special gift to our students and our Savior ... a campus decorated to welcome the Light of the World. On Wednesday, November 23, we encourage you to meet in the Chapel of the Christ narthex to help with:
- Stringing lights
- Arranging nativity scenes
- Arranging potted plantings
- Setting up trees
- Placing wreaths and garlands
Most of the students will be out of town enjoying their Thanksgiving break. We’d love to have a campus which is wrapped and ready for their return so that their three weeks of classes and exams prior to Christmas break will be a bit more special.
All ages are welcome. Most tasks are indoors, so come and serve as you are able. The event kicks off at 10AM. Decorating should be completed by 12:30 and you’ll be provided with a pizza and pop lunch at that time. Please RSVP to Steve Balza at 507 217-1731 or alumni@mlc-wels.edu and let us know you’re coming so we can plan accordingly.
