Freshmen dive into Early Field Experience

March 8-12 was the first teaching experience for freshmen in Education Studies.

Speakers, mini-faculty meetings, lesson planning, reflective teaching, and then teaching a real lesson to real grade school children-it's a lot of work, but it's well worth it. The experience reminds the freshmen of their goal and clarifies their decisions to come to MLC to be teachers. Inspiration, motivation, and rejuvenation-these are some of the goals of the high-impact EFE week.
