Kids Against Hunger

1000 students pack meals for central Africa.

About 1000 students from Martin Luther College, Minnesota Valley LHS, and several Lutheran elementary schools worked in MLC's gym March 7 to pack 250,000 meals for the undernourished children of central Africa.

Organized by Kids Against Hunger, these meals consist of rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamins. A generous grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans funded part of the project, and gifts from the students funded the rest.
