Join MLC's Wind Symphony at the Milwaukee Art Museum
Alumni and friends are encouraged to join the MLC Wind Symphony as they tour the Milwaukee Art Museum on Saturday, Feb 6. Located along the Lake Michigan shoreline, the museum is home to 20,000 works of art and attracts more than 300,000 visitors each year. Its Quadracci Pavilion is an architectural marvel and makes the MAM one of the city’s most scenic settings.
Our group will arrive at the museum at 11:00 am. All group members must arrive by 11:15. A docent led Collection Highlights tour is scheduled from 11:30-12:30. A pizza and sub sandwich lunch will be served 1 mile up the road in the Heritage Room at Grace Lutheran Church. After a quick visit to their beautiful sanctuary, we’ll head back to the museum at 1:30 for another hour and a half of free exploration. The Wind Symphony will depart at 3:00, but alumni and friends are welcome to stay and tour at their leisure.
$15 covers the cost for the museum admission, docent led tour, and lunch at Grace. ($10 if you do not with to attend the luncheon). Children 12 and under receive free admission to the museum, but would need to reserve in order to be part of the tour. Please print the Art Museum Invitation below, fill out, make your check payable to MLC, and send it to MLC Alumni Relations, 1995 Luther Ct., New Ulm, MN 56073. Reservations must be received by Monday, Feb 1 in order to provide a count for our tour and lunch providers.
