MLC Students Serve Congregations over Spring Break

last modified 2011-04-01 01:33 PM

Students traveled across the country over Spring Break through Daylight USA, MLC’s volunteer ministry program. All 82 students took what they are learning in the classroom and applied it to real-life situations and individuals. Erica Babinec (Luther) shares her experience: “I was in Las Vegas with Breanna Bader (Luther), Luke Pudlo (LPS), and Eric Melso (MLS). In addition to canvassing, some other fun things we were able to do were go to shows on the strip, visit Hoover Dam, and hike in Red Rock Canyon. It is a great opportunity to witness our faith while enjoying Christian fellowship with the members of the congregation.” (Article from MLC’s Knightwatch Weekly)
