The theme of the service is "God Is Our Refuge and Strength!" and will note the 475th anniversary of the Apology to the Augsburg Confession.

  • Professor Richard Gurgel of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary will preach.
  • The liturgist will be Pastor Jeff Bovee, of St. John's New Ulm
  • The organist will be Mrs. Jeneane Thiesfeldt, also of St. John's New Ulm.
  • A brass group will also be assisting with music during the service.
  • Choral music will be sung by an area adult choir under the direction of Rev. Jim Renz. The adult choir will sing the anthem "On Christ I Stand" and sing Psalm 46.
