The MLC Shepherd Society announced

MLC has established a way for God´s people to offer memorial gifts to MLC to thank Jesus for the gospel in our midst and to more formally acknowledge the gospel ministry of particular called workers. We´re calling it The Shepherd Society.

Each member of The Shepherd Society will be someone who has given a thank offering to Martin Luther College in appreciation of a particular pastor, teacher, or staff minister whom God has used to make a difference in his or her life.

MLC will give special recognition to the called workers so honored. They will receive a letter of gratitude from the MLC president, a personalized "Certificate of Appreciation" noting their name and the donor´s name, and a copy of the donor´s `Words of Gratitude.´
