Considered to be Shakespeare’s first play, Two Gentlemen of Verona is often seen as his first steps in addressing topics that would later reappear in his works in greater detail. The play deals with the themes of friendship and infidelity, the conflict between friendship and love, and the foolish behavior of people in love.
Three performances: Fri., April 30, 6:00 pm; Sat, May 1, 6:00 pm; and Sun., May 2, 2:30 pm
