Work continues on water line repair

Due to the repair of water lines on campus, the water will be shut off in most areas of the campus next Tuesday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m. until about noon. Restroom facilities in the Music Center will have running water. This is part of an ongoing project. Some water pipes will be placed in tunnels or buildings and others, in a protective sleeve. All valves will be replaced to allow control of the water at individual buildings, eventually eliminating the need to turn off water in large areas of the campus when a leak occurs. The estimated $150,000 project cost will be drawn from reserve funds and/or emergency maintenance funds from the synod.
