Students and faculty perform

The MLC Wind Symphony performed works by Alfred Reed, Sergei Prokofiev, and Mark Camphouse at their spring concert Saturday, April 12.

Two seniors, Jon Laabs and Nick Bush took to the podium and conducted their peers in one of their final performances at MLC. "Nick and Jon are fine examples of students who work hard to prepare themselves for their future ministries," said Professor Miles Wurster. "It was my pleasure to see them conduct one final time before their tenure in Wind Symphony comes to a close." In another MLC musical offering, faculty members Kathy Wurster (soprano), Brent Nolte (trumpet), and Bethel Balge (keyboard) presented an outstanding recital Friday, March 28, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in New Ulm. We thank God for the musical gifts in both our faculty and our student body.
