2009 Joint Teachers' Conference of the ELS/WELS "Stay Wet!"

The conference will be held on the campus of Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota.  Please see the parking lot map in the folder on the left for directions of where to park due to construction.

What you need to do . . .

1. Click the " Accommodations "file to get information for making your motel reservations. 

2. Click "Conference Daily Schedule" to see and print the daily schedule for your faculty. 

3. Click "Sectional Descriptions" to learn more about the sectionals. 

4. Click "Biographical Descriptions" to learn more about our presenters.

5. Click  "Registration" and follow directions to enter school and teacher information and to register for specific sectionals. Registration closes October 2, 2009. 

6. Please indicate if you will be attending Licensure Courses I, II, or both.  Cost to attend these is $20.00 each or $40.00 for both.  This is payable at the door.   Read about updated licensure information and Courses I and II in the Licensure folder.

7.  If you are attending one of the double sectionals on Thursday, please indicate this in your choices for Sectionals I and II.

8.  Thursday Lunch will be served in the MLC cafeteria. The cost of this is included in your dues.  If you are planning on eating in the MLC cafeteria for Friday lunch, please indicate this in the registration procedure so that the kitchen may prepare enough food for lunch.

9.  If you would like to sing in the choir at the closing devotion, we will be singing "Borning Cry", p.34-35, from Let All the People Praise You.  If you would like to sing in the choir, please come to the practice that will be announced.  Please bring your copy of Let All the People Praise You if you have one.  Several copies will also be provided if you  need one.   Practice either the soprano or alto part.

10.  We are hoping to schedule tours of the new chapel.

11.  We  have Turner Hall reserved for Thursday night's fellowship.  Some snacks will be provided, and there will be a cash bar.

12. By October 10, please pay for the conference [all LES teachers + ECE attendees x $75 (student teachers $30)].  Please write a check payable to MNDTC, and send to:
