The Martin Luther College Wind Symphony presents "Joyful, We Adore Thee: A Sacred Concert for Wind Band" on Sunday, February 10, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Christ on the campus of Martin Luther College. Works on the program include "Fantasia in G" by Minnesota composer Timothy Mahr, based on the melody of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"; "The Spheres,” a transcription of Ola Gjelio's setting of the Kyrie; and "American Hymn Tune Sketches” by John Prescott, conducted by MLC senior Carla Carmichael. The concert will close with Alfred Reed's "Allelujah, Laudamus Te." All are invited to join us as we celebrate God's glorious gift of music!
