Daylight program provides real ministry experiences

This summer, over 80 MLC students served at 18 different congregations for one to two weeks through the Daylight USA program. Another 24 students helped 10 congregations for 10 weeks in the Member Ministry Assistance program. In addition to helping individual congregations, three teams traveled to multiple sites in Colorado, Texas, and the Midwest. The congregations used our students for various ministry efforts such as Bible camps, canvass/witness surveys, vacation Bible schools, and other outreach programs. In addition, some 50 students and grads are teaching in international venues through Daylight International. (Eighteen candidates from the class of 2013 elected international service.) Our students bring their theological and professional training, their energy and enthusiasm to these places, and they leave with hearts more filled with compassion and love for souls.
