MLC Summer Hebrew Institute: July 14-18, 2014

  • Monday 8:00 a.m. through Friday noon
  • 1 credit (can be transferred as 2 credits into a Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary degree program)
  • Thomas P. Nass, M. Div., M.A, Instructor

This Summer Hebrew Institute is an upper-level course in Biblical Hebrew for pastors with a strong interest and ability in Hebrew and for those currently teaching Hebrew in the fellowship of WELS.

MLC Summer Hebrew Review: July 14-18, 2014

  • Monday 8:00 a.m. through Friday noon
  • 15 hours of classroom work
  • Minimum 10 participants, maximum 20
  • Daniel A. Witte, M.Div., Instructor

This Summer Hebrew Review is designed for busy parish pastors who desire to regain and enhance their skills for working in the original language of the Old Testament. It will also benefit students in the WELS worker training system whose studies have been interrupted and who now intend to continue their theological training.

The Sacrament of Baptism: July 14 - 18, 2014

This course is offered at MLC through the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, "Grow in Grace," continuing education institute. You are invited to Join Professor John Schuetze to explore many aspects of baptism, including what Scripture says about baptism, what other churches teach regarding the sacrament of baptism, and the practical application of the sacrament in our ministry. Please note that the cost of this course includes an additional $10 technology fee, assessed by Martin Luther College.
